Drywall Foreman
Location: Maryland, Virginia, Washington D.C.
Employment Type: Full-Time
District Drywall Construction Inc. is seeking an experienced Drywall Foreman to lead commercial drywall and metal stud framing projects throughout Maryland. This position is responsible for overseeing field crews, coordinating with the Superintendent and Project Manager, and ensuring projects are completed safely, on schedule, and within budget.
Position Responsibilities:
Supervise and lead drywall and framing crews on commercial job sites
Read and interpret blueprints and project specifications
Coordinate daily manpower based on project schedule and production goals
Maintain quality control and productivity standards
Enforce company safety policies and conduct toolbox talks
Communicate effectively with project management and other trades
Track daily progress and report jobsite updates
Qualifications:
Minimum 5+ years of commercial drywall experience
Previous foreman or crew leadership experience required
Strong knowledge of metal stud framing, drywall installation, and finishing
Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
OSHA 30 preferred
Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
Basic technology skills (smartphone, tablet, email)
Reliable transportation

Drywall Finisher
Location: Maryland, Virginia, Washington D.C.
Employment Type: Full-Time
District Drywall Construction Inc. is seeking experienced Drywall Finishers to join our commercial construction team in Maryland. This position is responsible for finishing drywall to a high-quality standard on commercial job sites, ensuring surfaces are properly prepared for final paint and finishes.
Position Responsibilities:
Tape, mud, and finish drywall joints on walls and ceilings
Apply joint compound using hand tools and mechanical tools
Sand and smooth surfaces to a professional finish
Repair cracks, seams, and surface imperfections
Maintain clean and organized work areas
Follow project specifications and quality standards
Adhere to all jobsite safety requirements
Qualifications:
Minimum 3+ years of commercial drywall finishing experience
Strong knowledge of taping, mudding, and sanding techniques
Ability to deliver smooth, paint-ready finishes
Ability to read and follow jobsite instructions
OSHA 10 preferred
Reliable transportation
Own taper, box, sander and PPE
Able to perform Level 5 Finishing
Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
